RecOps is how a Thatcher desk works underneath. Not a pile of tools, but a single system that defines a market, watches it, and surfaces the moments worth acting on. Here is the whole engine, in the order it runs.

What RecOps is.

RecOps, short for recruitment operations, is the discipline of running a desk as a system rather than a contacts book. You define a market, you scan it continuously, and you surface the leads worth acting on. The work that used to eat a recruiter's week, the prospecting, the list-building, the watching, runs quietly underneath.

That leaves the human free for the part only a human does well: the conversation, the judgement, the relationship. RecOps does not replace the recruiter. It clears the desk so the recruiter can do the work that actually places people.
